How do I find a repair facility that I can trust ... ?

Shop around for an auto repair facility before you need repairs. Ask family members, friends and co-workers to recommend a reputable shop. Personal recommendations from friends, relatives, even perfect strangers account for 60% of all car buying decisions. This same method should be used to find a quality auto repair facility. Ask the Better Business Bureau in your area to check a business' reliability before you need to have your vehicle repaired.

What should I look for when selecting a repair shop ... ?

Look for signs that the shop has the equipment needed to properly diagnose your vehicle's problems. Most vehicles built since 1981 have computer controlled engine systems. They are designed to increase engine efficiency, reduce emissions and aid in diagnosing an engine that has a problem. If a shop does not have the proper equipment to diagnose and repair your vehicle, you may be taking a risk by having this shop repair your vehicle.

Why shouldn't I shop for the best price ... ?

While everyone wants to save money, don't shop for price alone. It is important to remember that you are not just paying for the cost of the part and the time it takes to install the part. You are also paying for the professionalism and the technical expertise of the technician. Some repairs also require expensive test equipment to diagnose and repair our modern day vehicles.

Who are normally the best technicians ... ?

Seek a repair facility that employs ASE certified technicians. It is not generally known that automotive technicians must undergo training and testing every five years to maintain their ASE certification. The ASE symbol is prominently displayed by repair facilities that employ these highly skilled auto technicians.

What type of warranty should I expect for my vehicle ... ?

Most reputable auto repair shops will give you a written warranty. Some shops may only warranty the parts and others may warranty the parts and the labor with different time frames increments. Also look for a facility that has a national warranty in case you would happen to move to a new home or be out of town on a vacation.

You should be able to receive a 12 month and/or 12,000 mile written warranty on parts and labor with a national warranty (in case you have a  failure while you are out of town).

Parts are Parts - Right ... ?

While one may think parts are parts, one might relate chicken breast pieces pressed into chicken fingers to a chicken breast cut into strips for chicken fingers. Or .. breaded pork fritters to a breaded pork tenderloin. Which would you rather buy to eat?  Ask if the repair shop uses brand name parts when repairing your vehicle. Brand name parts are typically engineered to the original manufacturer's quality or even better. They often carry better warranties and last longer too.

Why a Customer Satisfaction Policy ... ?

Choose an auto care facility that provides a customer satisfaction policy. Such policies allow you peace of mind, not to mention, saving you money. Once you have selected your auto repair facility, a good rule of thumb is to give your technician the time to do a good job for you.

What are your hours of operations ... ?

We are open from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. We are closed on the weekends and most of the major holidays.

Do I need an Appointment ... ?

Appointments are recommended but are not always necessary. We recommend that you call to make an appointment. Appointments can be made to drop off a vehicle for the day or we can schedule minor "while you wait" services. You are more than welcome to wait while we service your vehicle.

What is your warranty ... ?

Most  repairs are warranted for 12 months or 12,000 miles, (parts and labor), whichever comes first. This also has a national warranty if  you happen to have a break down while out of town. In addition,  if you use your NAPA Credit Card for this repair, then the warranty is doubled to 24 months or 24,000 miles, whichever comes first.
